S(t)IGMA

Premier:  9.6.2026

Audience: Adults, 15+

Length:  1h 20minut

Performance for indoor.

A musical documentary for three (male) voices.

Because I like cars, machines and cowboys, but I don’t understand why these things should define masculinity.

Because I check out boobs and butts.

Because the last time I cried was after getting pepper-sprayed.

Because I’m not entirely sure what it actually means to be a man.

Because I’m afraid of a society that is becoming increasingly radicalised.

Because I don’t understand the need to be ALPHA at all costs.

S(t)IGMA is a post-punk performance about what it’s like to grow up as a young man today. About loneliness that sometimes turns into anger. About the pressure of simplistic slogans in the depths of the internet. About the question that keeps coming back: how to be a “proper man”. And what if you want something completely different?
