Time starts to breathe. Sand moves, bodies and objects listen, and the stage transforms into a living landscape. In RAUM · ZEIT (Space · Time), Tobias Piero Dohm explores the interplay between body, object and material to its limit. White globes spin, hang, roll and float like little planetary systems while sand forms ever-changing miniature worlds. Material is not simply represented but activated – until it begins to speak its own language.
Moving through this environment by listening rather than controlling, the performer reveals images that are simple, yet powerful and unexpectedly poetic. Live-composed modular soundscapes fill the space with deep resonances, inviting the audience into a suspended moment to discover the space and experience time differently – slower, wider and more open.
“In RAUM · ZEIT Tobias Piero Dohm reveals the secret language of objects. Every sphere breathes and every grain of sand marks a moment in the universe.”
